1. Promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland) who are aged 18 or over, except employees of the promoter and their respective immediate families, promoter’s agencies and anyone else professionally connected with the promotion. Participants must submit entries in a personal capacity on their own behalf and not be sent in through agents or third parties. Winners will be required to provide proof of age.
2. Purchase is not required to enter the promotion. In mainland UK (England, Scotland, and Wales) a purchase of a product can increase your entries.
3. Northern Ireland a maximum of one free entry is permitted per person per day. In mainland UK (England, Scotland, and Wales) a maximum of one free entry is permitted per person per day and a maximum of two additional entries per person per day are available by uploading receipt which shows purchase of a DEWALT product within the Promotion Period. Each valid entry requires a separate receipt. Receipts must be dated within the promotional period and predate a winning entry.
4. To be eligible to participate in the Promotion, the participant must provide a valid email address, register for a MyDEWALT account (free registration) and have internet access.
5. Maximum one prize is permitted per person per promotional month (runs 19^th of the month to 18^th of the month).
6. Promotion Period: The Promotion opens at 00:01 on 19/04/2024 and closes at 23:59 on 14 November 2024. Within the Promotion Period there are 8 Monthly Promotion Periods as follows:

7. To enter:

   Create An Account

   1. Scan QR code or visit the DEWALT website and click on the promotional banner.
   2. You will be redirected to the promotional microsite for Norway after which you will need to click PLAY NOW.
   3. You will be redirected to MyDEWALT website. Log in to MyDEWALT account or register to create an account, if you are not already an account holder. If you need to register for an account, you will be redirected to “Create Account” where the following information is required: name, email address, country, and trade.
   4. Once you’ve registered or logged in to your account, you will be redirected to the promotional microsite and prompted to smash the concrete.

   In Northern Ireland there is one way to win/enter

      4. All winners will be verified and once verified an email will be sent confirming prize on its way.
   3. BONUS ENTRY METHOD (England, Scotland and Wales only):

      If you do not win an Instant Win prize and have not won a prize during that the same promotional month and are a resident of mainland UK, you will see a “play again” button. Before you can “play again” you need to upload a receipt for a DEWALT purchase dated within the Promotion Period (a “Qualifying Transaction”). The Promoter will verify receipts linked to winning entries. Each receipt can only be used once.

      Entrants will be awarded one (1) additional chance to PLAY NOW for a prize for each valid Qualifying Transaction receipt uploaded in accordance with the below ( a “Bonus Entry”). Each receipt qualifies you for one (1) Bonus Entry, regardless of the number of DEWALT products purchased in the Qualifying Transaction.

      v. To earn a Bonus Entry into the Promotion, entrants must make any DEWALT Power Tool, Outdoor Power Tool, Hand Tool, Storage System or Laser purchase during the Promotional Period from any authorised DEWALT stocking retailer. Entrants must be logged into their MyDEWALT account and, when prompted, upload Qualifying Transaction receipt.

      vi. Bonus Entries will be granted immediately, however can be used at any time during the Promotion Period; any prizes won as a result of a Bonus Entry require a receipt and winner verification as described below.

      e. Verification is based on confirmation of age, validation of any receipt (if Bonus Entry) and provision of a valid postal address for delivery within the relevant state or territory in the United Kingdom. If your win is from a Bonus Entry, you will receive an onscreen message informing you that the receipt associated with the winning entry will be verified within 7 working days to determine it is valid and unique in accordance with these terms. A receipt will only be deemed valid if it details the purchase dated within the Promotion Period, includes the purchase of a DEWALT product, and contain details of the location of purchase. Each receipt must predate the date and time of winning entry. Your prize will be dispatched if the winning entry is valid and verified and will be delivered within the timeframe as set out in Clause 9 below. If the winning entry is not valid, it will be disqualified.

      f. Participants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them when entering this promotion.

      g. Entries must be received on or before the end of the promotional period. Entries received after this date will not be entered in the promotion.

9. Upon verification of a winning entry, prizes will be dispatched within 28 days. Verification is based on confirmation of age, provision of a valid postal address for delivery within the United Kingdom and, if a resident of mainland UK validation of any receipt related to a win associated with a Bonus Entry. Prize delivery will be by post or courier.
10. Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative is available. Prizes are not for re-sale. At the promoter’s discretion, the prize shall be replaced by another prize of equal or greater value if in all reasonable circumstances the promoter is unable to provide the intended benefits. The decision is taken by the promoter and is final in all matters. No correspondence will be entered into.
11. It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide correct, up-to-date details when entering the promotion and on claiming a prize. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects delivery of their prize.
12. Winner Selection: Winners will be selected using an independently verified algorithm which will randomly distribute the prizes across the Promotional Period. There is no guarantee all prizes will be won. Winner verification and notification are as described in clauses 9 and 13 respectively.
13. Winner notification:
    Winners will find out if they have won by seeing an onscreen message informing them if they have won and what they have won immediately for Instant Win. If the win is related to a Bonus Entry (linked to a purchase), the receipt associated with the winning entry will be verified within 7 working days to determine it is valid and unique. If win is valid, the winner will be notified via an onscreen message as described above within five (5) business days, and the winner’s prize will be dispatched within the timeframe as set out in clause 9 above (unless disqualified if receipt from a bonus entry is invalid). Winners will be asked to confirm they are over 18 years old and to provide a delivery address.
14. Privacy - entrants: The details you provide in order to set up your MyDEWALT account and to enter the Promotion, namely your name, email address and trade occupation will be held by the Promoter under the terms of the privacy policy applicable to the MyDEWALT account. Entrant’s personal data will not be used for marketing purposes and not disclosed to third parties unless Entrant opts in to receive such marketing communications (and you can opt out any time). 15. Privacy – winners: The details you provide in order to receive your prize, namely your name, email address, mobile number and postal address, will be used by the Promoter and its agents acting on their behalf for the administration of the promotion and the provision of the prize only and under the terms of the Promoter’s privacy policy: https://www.stanleyblackanddecker.com/privacy-policy. The Promoter is bound by the European General Data Protection Regulations and the UK Data Protection Act 2018. Prize winners’ personal data will be stored for 6 months from the end of the Promotion Period, after which it will be deleted. Prize winners’ personal data will not be used for marketing purposes and not disclosed to third parties except in relation to providing the prize or unless you opt in to receive such marketing communications (and you can opt out at any time). 16. Entries (bulk or otherwise) made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is using computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking their identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than their own or any other automated means in order to increase that participant’s entries into the draw in a way that is not consistent with the spirit of the promotion, that person’s entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.
17. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entries to protect itself against fraudulent, invalid or repetitive entries including, without limitation, their age (via means of appropriate photographic identification). The promoter reserves the right to refuse to award the prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotion’s entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means. The promoter’s decision is final and binding in all respects on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with these terms and conditions will be disqualified
18. Incomplete, illegal, misdirected or invalid entries, or entries not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions will not be accepted. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery. The promoter does not accept responsibility for equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, server, network, computer hardware or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay a participant’s entry to the promotion and does not accept proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the promotion. Incomplete entries will not be processed.
19. The promoter reserves the right to vary, suspend or cancel the promotion and/or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice if it considers it necessary or appropriate to do so, and any amendment to these terms and conditions will be found on www.dewalt.se/promo/terms-and-conditions. In the event of cancellation, the prize may be awarded to a winner drawn from entries received prior to cancellation.
20. If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons beyond the control of the Promoter (including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures) which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion), the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any written directions given under applicable law) to modify or suspend any relevant element of the Promotion as it deems necessary with no liability to entrants or third parties. In these circumstances the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.
21. Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence, or in respect of fraud and so far as is permitted by law the promoter and its associate companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from:
    1. any postponement or cancellation of the promotion, and
    2. any changes to, supply of, or use of the prize, and any act or default of any third-party supplier, which are beyond the promoter’s reasonable control.
22. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.
23. The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise. The Promoter is not liable for any problems associated with internet or communication networks due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise.
24. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect. The Promotor’s failure to enforce any of these terms and conditions will not constitute a waiver of that provision.
25. Jurisdiction: This promotion and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. You the entrant and the promoter irrevocably agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the United Kingdom courts.
